Renown Tourism Ambassador and legal practitioner, Barrister Wale Ojo-Lanre, has paid glowing tribute to his longtime driver, popularly known as Bz Dee, describing him as a consummate professional who ensured a smooth and safe journey across three European countries.
According to Ojo-Lanre, Bz Dee handled an extensive international trip that began in Frankfurt, Germany, where he picked him up directly from his hotel, before driving him through Berlin, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, and onward to Belgium.
He disclosed that the journey eventually ended at the Brussels Airport, where Bz Dee ensured his safe and timely arrival, demonstrating exceptional dedication, discipline, and professionalism throughout the trip.
“Bz Dee is not just a driver; he is a highly professional and dependable man who understands responsibility and commitment,” Ojo-Lanre said.
The ambassador also used the opportunity to pay tribute to Bz Dee’s late wife, fondly referred to as Iyawo, praying for the repose of her soul.
While speaking light-heartedly, Ojo-Lanre added that Bz Dee still “owes him,” a remark made in good humour, reflecting the cordial relationship between them.
The tribute highlights the often-unseen role of professional drivers in ensuring the success of international engagements and the importance of loyalty and trust in such relationships.
