A member, representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, and Chairman, House Committee on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Hon. Olusola Fatoba has called on the residence of Ekiti State to take active part in the outgoing Nationwide continuous voter registration exercise.
He made the call during a media chat that it is very important for Nigerian citizens who had attained the age of 18 years and above before the registration to participate.
The lawmaker pointed out that the exercise is also an opportunity for citizens to update their informations, transfer voter registration to another unit, replace damaged or lost voter’s card.
According to him, the permanent voter’s card will enable citizens to vote for candidates of their choice during elections.
The lawmaker appealed to Ekiti people in particular to authenticate their identities with update PVC to be allowed to cast their votes for the incumbent Governor, Biodun Oyebanji who is performing excellently well in the State.
Hon. Fatoba urged citizens to make use of the opportunity to participate in the electoral process ahead of Governorship election in Ekiti State as well as the general election.
