Do you know Tolu Falayi?
That young, energetic, diligent, and workaholic gentleman who serves as the Director of Protocol to His Excellency, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, the Executive Governor of Ekiti State?
You may not be aware, but something significant is about to happen to him on Saturday, March 1, 2025. And in Yoruba culture, it is said that “Agba ki wa loja ki ori omo tuntun wo”—meaning that elders must not stand by and watch without speaking out when something of importance is about to unfold in the life of a young person.
As a senior citizen and statesman, keeping quiet about this matter would be a disservice to Tolu Falayi and to Ekiti State. More so, as a journalist with access to certain privileged documents—which I will make public—I find it necessary to inform the world about what is about to befall him.
I am so concerned about him that I have taken the time to write him a letter, and I am making both the letter and the accompanying document public. If he is too busy attending to his Oga, then I trust that you will help me pass this message across to him.
Now, let me reveal the “big secret”—a document sent to me via WhatsApp by an anonymous source. It states that, starting from today, Friday, February 28, Tolu Falayi will be inaugurated as the Captain of Ado Ekiti Golf Club!
