The Freelance Independent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (FIBAN), Ekiti state chapter has expressed its condolences over the death of a prominent indigenous broadcaster, Mrs Christianah Ademulegun popularly known as Eyeopitan.
The first prominent Independent Broadcasters association in its condolence message jointly signed by the State Chairman, Comrade Afolabi Olorunfemi Asorogbayi and the Secretary, Comrade Jaye Omogbehin described the death of the ace broadcaster as a huge loss to the entire broadcasting family in Ekiti state.
It furthered that the indigenous broadcaster would deeply be missed by upcoming broadcasters who have benefitted from her wealth of experience.
The association commiserated with the family of the deceased and all the entire members of Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD) led by the state Chairman, Comr. Olugbenga Awoko Olohun Iyo over the demise of one of their prominent members.
Finally, the association in its condolence message prayed that God would grant the family of the deceased and ANBROD the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
“We are deeply grieved over the demise of a revered figure in the broadcasting family in Ekiti state and also a mother figure to all of us, Mrs Christianah Ademulegun popularly called Eyeopitan.
“Her death has created a great vacuum that can not be easily filled. She will be sorely missed by all of us who have in one way or the other benefitted from her wealth of experience.
“We commiserate with the family of the deceased and Association of Nigerian Broadcasters, (ANBROAD) over this huge loss. Our prayer is that God will grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss” the statement stated.
