2026: Ekiti Youths Group Backs BAO’s Second Term Bid, Says is Him They Trust

A group under the aegis of BAO Youth Ambassadors has thrown their support behind the re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (⁷BAO)of Ekiti State, saying is only him they trust.

The youth group drawn from the 16 local governments of the State endorsed the governor owing to his inclusive governance in the State.

Speaking at the endorsement ceremony in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday, Coordinator of the group, Adenijo Olusola, disclosed that the governor has prioritized the welfare of youths in the street noting that previous administrations neglected them in the scheme of governance.

He explained that the re-election of Governor Oyebanji will bring more dividends of democracy for the advancement of the State, particularly at the grassroots.

His words: “He has demonstrated an act of OMOLUWABI by ensuring a government of inclusiveness in Ekiti State. The street is for the good, the bad and the ugly.

“We are all products of the society, it is only appropriate for leaders to recognize this, extend hands of fellowship to us and make us also feel loved and only by doing so that purposive influence can be felt across the State and by so doing, we would be contributing to overall development of the State.

“BAO, being a home grown Governor, took advantage of this and made us feel loved and cherished. As someone who deeply values relationships, inclusiveness, openness and good governance, we are very sure that BAO is all Ekiti Kete needs to make a meaningful impact at a time like this.

“We trust him, and we have no doubt in our minds that if he is given a second term, the dividends of democracy that we have all craved for will no doubt get to the doorstep of us all. In times like these, we need leaders who are nat just capable but also deeply committed to the well-being of ALL without any demarcation.”
