Ilawe Stand Still For ODF Free Gas

It was a big show at Ilawe Ekiti this weekend as the town stand still for Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation.

The venue of the recent palliative for Ekiti South West free gas at God’s Will gas station Ilawe along igbara odo Odo road was crowded with beneficiaries of the free gas.

The people of council area were overwhelmed and showered praises on the giver.

The benevolent Philanthropist and the Founder of a charity and non governmental organization, Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, (ODF), Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan attracted the attention of Odo, ilawe, igbara Odo,Ogotun and Ikogosi Ekiti people with the free distribution of cooking gas.

According to the Director General, Comrade Samuel Ajibola, this is part of ODF activities to put smile on the faces of Ekiti people.

Hundreds beneficiaries both at local, state and federal government civil service besieged the free cooking gas venue.

The lucky beneficiaries were chosen based on their ability to show mean of identification that they were civil servants.

This highly commendable initiative by the exemplary philanthropist had gone a long way to help the beneficiaries and their family to deflate the effects of the current harsh economic realities at least to some extent.

The beneficiaries appreciated and gave kudos to Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan for his magnanimity and philanthropy, and wishes him more blessings from God.

Some of the beneficiaries urged him to continue the good gesture.

Some added that, some bad people will criticize him but he should remain focus and steadfast in helping the good of Ekiti state

In their appreciation, some of the beneficiaries have these to say, Mrs. Opeyemi idowu said the gesture relieved her a bit that the money planned for buying gas will be diverted to feeding.

“It a big relief, the money meant for gas or charcoal will be diverted to something else like food. This is highly commendable. I urge the people of Ekiti to support ODF initiative and when it is time, he should make his aspiration known and I promise to support him” she explained.

In his contribution, Mr. Francis Joseph said he was overwhelmed benefiting from the palliative.

“Am overwhelmed, over years I could only fill gas but today am joyous because I was counted worthy to benefit” he appreciated.

In her own take Miss Tosin Ajisola from ilawe described ODF as a honest and reliable person who always keep promises.

“She has never disappoint his people once. Whenever he says he want to do something, he will surely do it.

Initially I don’t believe that, with this economy hardship a single person can do something great like this. I am really surprised to witness this. Today is a remarkable day been the first time in my life style to benefit from such a gestures” he commended.
