The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan has promised to give Ekiti state civil servants free gas on Saturday 19th of October 2024.
Falegan said the foundation will commence free cooking gas distribution on the said date at Ikere Ekiti.
“Many residents of the state most especially federal , state and local government workers are expected to be at **Feyi Gas ikere not far from Akoto park along Ado road* where they will be jostling for the free cooking gas”he added.
In a press statement signed by himself and made available to news men recently, Falegan said the palliative are meant for all civil servants in the state.
The founder said the exercise will be done in all the 16 local government in the state and Ikere ise emure and Orun will be the first beneficiary
He said, some major Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) dealers has be engaged for the refill of customers’ cylinders with LPG (cooking gas) as part of the foundation regular and corporate social responsibility to the people of the state.
Falegan has organized numerous similar events in the past.
The founder said, he’s proud and happy to do his part to help ease the pain felt by Nigerian because of the high in gas prices and economy challenges.
The donor said that, the gesture is to ameliorate the suffering of the citizens in the state.
The program is for all civil servant in the state.
Earlier, he said the distribution of free cooking gas is part of the foundation’s support to the good people of Ekiti in ameliorating the suffering of the people.
According to him, all civil servants must come to the venue with their valid official identity cards.
He urged every intending beneficiary to maintain peace and orderliness during the exercise, promising that, there will law enforcement agents on ground.
