Following the appointment of one Dauda Lawal by Governor Biodun Oyebanji in the just released appointment list into various boards in Ekiti State, there is mistaken identity where people have mistook the new appointee for Alhaji Dauda Lawal, otherwise known as ADL
People who knew ADL have since being sending congratulatory messages and calling Alhaji Dauda to show following the release of the the news.
A statement person signed by the man whose photograph appeared on the headline of this new, Alhaji Dauda Lawal otherwise known as ADL has come out to denounce the and to let the world know that the newly Dauda Lawal is not his own Dauda Lawal.
According to him, “I, Alhaji Dauda Lawal, wish to address the recent influx of congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and family.
“The messages were prompted by my mistaken identification with Dauda Lawal, a newly appointed member of the Traditional Medicine Board. I appreciate the love and support, but I must clarify that I am not the same individual.
“For the record, I am not a traditional medicine practitioner and therefore cannot be a member of the aforementioned board. I congratulate the genuine appointees on their new roles and wish them a successful tenure.
“I understand the confusion may have arisen from the similarity in names. However, I reaffirm that my full name is Alhaji Dauda Lawal, and I am distinct from the appointee.
