The management of Nigeria’s fast moving food product, MAF Canada Quick Oats, has appointed renowned business expert and chartered accountant, Lady Ibukunola Funmilayo, as its Sole Distributor for Oyo State, with base at Ibadan, the state’s capital.
MAF Canada Oatmeal is reputed for its health benefits as it lowers cholesterol, stabilises blood sugar level, and lowers high blood sugar level, all of which play a significant role in minimising the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases.
The Chief Executive Officer of Proclips Media, the sole distribution outfit for MAF Canada Quick Oats in Nigeria, Princess Olubukola Fasuyi, said the appointment of Lady Funmilayo to oversee Oyo State and by extension, adjourning states of Osun, Ondo and Ekiti, took a painstaking process, as her credible track record spoke for her among several shortlisted experts.
Funmilayo is a chartered accountant with 10 years experience that saw her working with high-profile private companies and a multinational company, Henkel, in Ibadan.
The 49-year old business expert had also worked in Global Fleet Oil and Gas, rising to the position of Business Development Manager, and later at NICON Hotel, Victoria Garden City, Lagos, as Operation Manager. Both outfits are owned by renowned mogul and politician, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim.
Funmilayo is currently the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pheonicprime Consulting Nigeria Limited.
Meanwhile, the MAF Canada Quick Oats’ CEO, Fasuyi, has explained the nutritional benefits of the product, being a fiber meal ideal for breakfast pap and swallow.
According to her, the MAF Canada Quick Oatmeal has been recommended by medical experts as a healthy meal which can be taken any time of the day.
