Mini Bus and campus bus shuttle drivers also known as ( *Akoto* )* in Ekiti State will continue to receive petroleum palliatives from the leading philanthropists in Ekiti state and a true son of the soil, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan to cushion the effect of subsidy removal at this hard economy.

The Founder of Opeyemi David Falegan Foundation, Hon. Opeyemi David Falegan said the condition of passengers most especially the students in the state has been further worsened with the remover of the fuel subsidy in the country and incresement in transportation fare by the drivers.

Hon. Falegan added that, with this free fuel relief intervention, the general transportation fare in the state will not be further increased.

However, recently to cushion the effects of subsidy, over 850 commercial taxi drivers were given free fuel for the third time within a year.

The Founder contracted some fuel stations in the state to give out free fuel as palliative from his non governmental foundation.

According to his Director General, Comrade Ajibola Samuel “What you are have been seeing since the beginning of this program about 8 years ago is as a result of the founder personal funding of the foundation.
