The wife of Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji in her unwavering commitment in Empowering Widows has left an indelible mark on the hearts and the lives of countless widows and indigent families across Ekiti state
The Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro in her welcome address during the empowerment program for the widows and indigent families resonated with reverence as she recounted the numerous initiatives spearheaded by Her Excellency through the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, in collaboration with her office on Friday in Ado-Ekiti
Dr. Adubiaro explained that under the guidance of Her Excellency, the state has witnessed the establishment of numerous empowerment programs aimed at providing financial support, vocational training, and psychological counseling to widows and indigent families.
In her word, the SSG painted a vivid picture of Her Excellency’s dedication and empathy, highlighting her unwavering commitment to uplifting the most vulnerable members of society and urged the beneficiaries to utilize the opportunity given to them.
She said, “Her Excellency believes that true greatness lies in service to others. She championed the cause of widows, ensuring they were not forgotten or neglected but embraced with dignity and respect.”
