Gov. Oyebanji Flags-Off  Distribution Of Free CAC Certificates

The Governor of Ekiti State,Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has flagged off the distribution of the free Business Registration Certificates initiated by the Federal Government through the Corporate Affairs Commission in year 2020.

The Governor who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government Dr Habibat Adubiaro said that the gesture was part of the federal government programs to help business men and women formalize their businesses in Nigeria.

The Governor also advised that the Beneficiaries of the gesture are expected to use the certificates for profitable ventures that will create employment and reduce poverty in the state

Governor Oyebanji said the state government decided to join the arrangement to complement the development efforts and to attract share prosperity to the state

The Governor who informed the public that one of the strategies being put in place by the state government to actualize a shift of Ekiti State economy from a public sector driven to a private sector driven.

He also emphasized on the efforts of his administration to encourage investments through provision and maintenance of infrastructural facilities such as roads, electricity and portable water across the state.

He also noted that there were other incentives put in place to attract investors into the state.

“You are advised to visit the relevant MDAs to make inquiries and take advantage of all incentives for the development of your businesses,he advised”

The program was initiated by the ministry of Industry,Trade and Investment.

Present at the occasion are the commissioner for industry, Trade and investment Mrs Tayo Adeola, Commissioner for Budget Mr Adebayo Adeniyi and others.
