Christ’s School, The Fountain of Knowledge

Christ’s School, The Fountain of Knowledge

In the old days of missionary travails in Africa, When new ideas came to our source, soil, and souls, Many bold hearts traverse our hinterland.

In the ranks of these pioneers of new dream, We see men of valour in cassock drably dressed Cloaked in celestial hope and a spartan lifestyle.

Christus victor became the light of our guide, On this worthy plain that birth eggheads, They stood as nation’s pillar and flourished steps.

The mission of visioner and builder was same,They preached good news of liberty and hope, Saddled in glorious destiny that gave new heart.

As the seed germinates into a centerpiece of the universe, On Agidimo hills lay a crest of Dallimore’s heart,Moulded by nature’s care, godly intent and excellence.

We can only salute the courage of Babamboni, Harding, Mason, Ogunlade and many others,With brows and sweat nourishing the earth.

A place among mountains, excelling in games, sports and knowledge,
Grace to be a Christian school in truth and deed,Christ’s School, the fountain of knowledge.

You have made your mark in my heart and sight,With the place not dying in our hearts and hand, Many garlands won came from your nurturing.

We remain a primus inter pares among others,We raise our voices strong to stem the tides,We make our mark in the midst of the stay.

As we banter and chant our songs and prayers,I will continue to uphold your ideals and idea,Up school – the symbol in our raised hands.
