Igirigiri/Ado: Another Side of Oyebanji That Aspirants Should Emulate-Chairmanship Hopeful

A leading Chairmanship hopeful In the upcoming local Government election, and All progressives Congress, (APC) chieftain in Ekiti state, Hon.Tunde Omotosho has pointed out another side of Governor Biodun Oyebanji that anyone aspiring to leadership positions in APC should emulate.

Omotosho who is aspiring to become local government chairman in Ado Ekiti in the coming local government election said Oyebanji’s quick response to community’s problems and distress calls are good leadership qualities that Aspirants should emulate in him.

Oyebanji had in response to the feedback he received regarding the flooded area at Igirigiri, Odo Ado, Ado Ekiti sent an emissary down for an immediate inspection which was led by Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Chief (Mrs.) Tosin Aluko and the SSA Community Communications, Mrs. Mary Oso-Omotosho who engaged members of the community on the spot .

Consequently, another follow-up inspection was conducted sometimes last week to assess the situation and also provide palliative measure for the community pending the commencement of construction of the road which will be flagged off soon .

The inspection team was led by
Hon. Sunday Adunmo, Ekiti RAMP Project Coordinator. On the team : Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Chief (Mrs.) Tosin Aluko, SSA Community Communications; Mrs Mary Oso – Omotosho Chairman Ado Local Government ; Chief Bosun Osaloni General Manager,SEPA; Mr Kayode Adunmo and others.

In a swift reaction, the Ado Ekiti Chairmanship hopeful pointed out that this was a confirmation of how strictly Oyebanji priotized the people and their wellbeing in Ekiti.

“Oyebanji has always been committed to the people and to the people’s wellbeing, this is another example that is showing responsible and responsive leadership style that we Aspirants should be emulating in him.

“Apart from this, governor Oyebanji deserved to be commended for this because he is a responsible leader that walk-the-talk with high desire to always make comfort of his people his priority”. he added.

Hon Omotosho who urged the stakeholders and leaders of APC to give him their supports to become the next Chairman of Ado Ekiti promised to be Keeping true to his election campaign promises if elected.

“I promise to keep true to my election campaign promises if I eventually become the next democratically elected chairman of Ado Ekiti, by the grace of God, I will make welfare one of my people my priority just like our Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji who has continue to lead by good examples”. Omotosho submitted.
