According the National President of Sons and Daughters of Ilorin Emirate, Alhaji Murithado Abdul Kareem (Muri Bariga), Tani Olorun was arrested for alleged defamation of character.
Muri Bariga revealed that Tani Olorun remarks on social media targeted Islamic scholars in Ilorin, as well as the Emir of Ilorin, a highly respected figure in the city.
