Senior Special Assistant to the governor of Ekiti on special duties Chief Femi Aduloju has congratulated the commissioners’ designates as their names has been forwarded to the Ekiti state house of Assembly for screening.
Aduloju charged them to see the appointment whenever they are finally screened and confirmed as commissioners by the appropriate authorities as a call to serve.
He explained that for them to be singled out from a pool of eminently qualified individuals is a testament of the trust Ekiti people have in them to represent their interest in the scheme of things in the state.
Aduloju charged them to emulate governor Biodun Oyebanji’s democratic posture which he displayed by not meddling in to the selection list of commissioners rather he encouraged the input of the people .
While describing governor Biodun Oyebanji as a rare type of governor the state is lucky to have admonished the designates to put the people first and run an all inclusive administration where the opinion of the people is respected.
It would be recalled that governor Biodun Oyebanji in a bid to run a truly democratic system of government in the state constituted an appointment committee with the mandate of going round the state to get recommendations from the people to choose their representatives in government.
