The senior special Assistant to the governor on special duties, Chief Olufemi Aduloju has commended the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji on the distribution of 38 brand new Toyota Camry cars to all heads of local government authority HLAs in the state.
He described the move as unprecedented in the history of governors in the state where local dealers are contacted for the purchase of government vehicles in the state.
Chief Aduloju, who was at the ground breaking ceremony held at the Fajuyi Pavilion in Ado Ekiti said the step has truly described governor Oyebanji as a man of the people who is keen about the welfare and development of business outfits in the state.
He explained that this singular act has further stamped his administration’s stance on prosperity for all and a government where no one is left behind.
He concluded that with this act of the governor, capital flight out of the state is removed with the money staying in the state and it will serve a moral booster for other associations in the state to thrive .
He however, urged the motor dealers association in the state to reciprocate the gesture of the governor by regular payment of their taxes and any fee due to the government.
