A popular Ekiti based musician, Krix Walawala, has disclosed his intention to organize a talent hunt in the state soon.
The talented musician made the disclosure in his musical studio in Ado Ekiti during an interview with Heritagenewsng correspondent.
He explained that, talent hunt is a competition among the youth who have the flair for music will contest in a show with the opportunity of becoming professional artist that could be promoted.
He said that Ekiti State is a base for cultural heritage and that he would make Ekiti an entertainment hub because they have the potential for entertainment and it would be a blessing to Ekiti and Africa in general.
“After releasing my next album, I want to do talent hunt in Ekiti to discover and promote budding talents in Ekiti for the whole world to see. I am planning with my people to turn Ekiti to art, tourism and entertainment hub in Africa God willing ” he said .
He declared: “I will tell talented youths that music is not a bed of roses. You must believe in yourself and remain focused.
“Winners never quit and quitters never win because the road to stardom is tough and rough. Never say I give up. Just keep building your skills and please don’t do drugs because its a talent killer”.
