NSCDC Arrests Suspect For Alleged Impersonation, Fraud

Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, kwara state command has arrested one Suspect Adulsalam Ajibola a 42 years old, for allegedly impersonating a Soldier to defraud some Nigerians

This was contained in statement issued by the public relations officer of the command DSC Ayeni Olasunkanmi and made available to newsmen in Ilorin

The statement reads in part “The tracking Unit of the NSCDC, Kwara State Command apprehended one Abdulsalam Ajibola, a 42 years old, for allegedly impersonating a Soldier to defraud some Nigerians.”

“The suspect was tracked down at Oke-Onigbin, in Isin LGA, kwara state on the 24th of March, 2023 by the tracking Unit of the Command.

Abdulsalam was alleged to have impersonate Soldier to defrauded Abdullahi Saheed of seven hundred thousand naira (#700,000), and Ropo Gabriel to the tune of Ninety six thousand naira (#96,000) having promised to help them get admission into Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna.

He was alleged to have also falsely took a Toyota picnic car from one Prophet Samuel Olugbemiga for Commercial transportation after which he absconded.

The suspect will be arraigned before the court for prosecution.” He said
