The Secretary to the Ekiti State Government, Dr Habibat Adubiaro has solicited support for the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji at the inauguration ceremony of Association of Professional Wedding and
Engagement Coordinators of Nigeria(APWECON) which was held at Ayoade event center in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday.
Dr. Adubiaro in her remark stated that the governor had been performing wonderfully well since assumption of office five months ago with some laudable steps taken by him such as regular payment of workers’ salaries, gratuities, rehabilitation of deplorable roads across the states and lots more.
She stated further by calling on members of the association to be professional in the discharge of their duties for a better society.
The SSG who described the Association as the salt of the world advised the new executives to embrace unity and love for the association to move forward
“Governor Oyebanji has been performing well, he has been fulfilling his electoral promises such as prompt payment of workers salaries, gratuities to the pensioners, rehabilitation of our deplorable roads and his love for women has made him to hold them in high esteem”
“This can be seen in appointment of women into key and sensitive positions, he really appreciate women,she said”.
Also in her remarks the Wife of the state Governor, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji who was represented by Chief(Mrs) Kemisola Olaleye congratulated the new Executive on the occasion and charge them to make the welfare of members a priority.
The first lady appreciated the leadership and members of APWECON for their support across all elections held in the state, most importantly, the governorship election that produced BAO.
She advocated for peace and love within the members and their brother Association, ATWECON.
She promised to continue to render the needed assistance when called upon for the overall development of the association.
National President APWECON; Toyin Makinde, in her speech, adored the governor’s wife for her presence, her unyielding support to her husband, Biodun Oyebanji.
The occasion was also attended by the Senior Special Adviser to the First Lady on Political Mrs. Toyin Adepoju and other dignitaries.
