Eld-el-Maulud: A Better Time To Come Together Strongly, Pray For Peace, Unity of Nigeria -Odimayo

The All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Representatives Candidate for Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency, Prince Okunjimi Odimayo has charged Islamic faithful to use the Eid-el-Maulud celebration to pray for peace and unity in Nigeria.

Odimayo, in his goodwill message to faithful on the ocassion to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), through his Media Adviser, Yemi Akintomide, in Akure, the state capital on Monday, the youthful politician said the birth of the Holy Prophet call for a better and stronger relationship with others, without discrimination of religion or ethnicity.

“Let us come together strongly as one and indivisible people to set our country Nigeria on the path of economic growth and developmental strides.

“I urge you, my Muslim brothers and sisters to use this ocassion of birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to pray for peace in our land, especially this period of electioneering campaigns for new crops of political leaders to emerge in 2023.

“As Islamic faithful, we must endeavour to embrace the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) which preached humility, honesty and love for others.

“Alhamdullilah that we have witnessed this day. Allah has made it possible; may we live to witness more blessed days like today IN SHA ALLAH

“I pray that the celebration of the birth of the Holy Prophet bring peace, happiness, and smoothness into our lives, and hope that Allah showers His unending blessings on all of us, and our nation, Nigeria.

“To our faithful, Alfas, Imams and great Islamic scholars in Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency and across Ondo State, You’ll always be in my prayers and may you remember me when you pray to Allah!” May Allah answer all our prayers”.
