A lawmaker at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ademola Olusegun Popoola, representing Ibadan South East state constituency 2, is dead.
The lawmaker aged 46, died at the University College Hospital, where had been receiving treatment after suffering from a Kidney related disease.
According to information gathered, the lawmaker died in the late hours of Tuesday.
Until his death, Popoola was the Chairman, House Committee on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.
He recently won a return ticket to fly the PDP’s flag in the constituency.
