The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency in the forthcoming 2023 National Assembly Election, Prince Jimi Odimayo has preached peace, love and tranquility amongst Muslim faithful and other religions believers, at the celebration of the 2022 Eid-el-Kabir and beyond.
The youthful politician made the plead in his Sallah Massage to all Islamic followers, Imams and Alfas in Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency, Ondo State and nationwide as Muslims celebration the Ileya Festival today according to the teaching and dictate of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Odimayo noted that Nigeria as a country and in such a critical need of peace admist large scale of insecurity and economy crisis, Nigerians must come together strongly to rescue the land of their birth, disregarding their political, religion and ethnicity differences.
“Ileya festival conotes the highest degree of perceivarance and sacrificing for Almighty Allah and humanity, when all Muslims must use the Eld-el-Kabir celebration to pray fervently for peaceful coexistence and economic prosperity of our dear Nation, Nigeria.
“As Islamic faithful and lovers of God, we must at all times, endeavour to make peace with our brothers and sisters, neighbours, fellow Nigerians and humanity at large as Eld-el-Kabir symbolises great love, sacrifice and faith to made the world a better place to live in.
“We must also put the forthcoming 2023 General Elections into prayers at our various praying grounds, urging God to lead us through a peaceful, free and fair polls that will jump start our Nation’s era of peace, economy boom and abundance.
“As we celebrate, we must take into consideration, our safety and security at all places of worships and entertainment arenas; be moderate in all our activities as we visit various places of interest to celebrate the most important festival.
