Former colleagues of the Ekiti State Governor-Elect, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in the state’s Executive Council, have felicitated him on his victory in the last Saturday gubernatorial election.
They have also congratulated the Deputy Governor-elect, Chief ( Mrs) Monisade Afuye as well as Oyebanji’s wife, Dr. ( Mrs) Olayemi Oyebanji.
The group under the auspices of Team 1014, in a congratulatory letter signed by its chairperson and former Deputy Governor, Prof. Modupe Adelabu, described Oyebanji’s victory as a demonstration of the belief and trust Ekiti people had in his ability to continue the developmental strides of the Dr Kayode Fayemi administration.
Team 1014 comprises, the deputy governor, commissioners and Special Advisers that served in Governor Fayemi’s first term administration. Oyebanji is also a member of the team.
While praying for God’s endowment of knowledge and wisdom for the incoming governor, they expressed their willingness to assist him in any capacity anytime the need arises.
“Please, feel free to tap into the array of brains and experiences available among Team 1014. I am sure they will gladly oblige you,” the statement added.
