The leading Senatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) for Ekiti North Senatorial District in the 2023 General Elections, Chief Segun Ajibulu has assured his teeming supporters of emerging as the candidate of APC at the primary slated for May 21, 2022.
Ajibulu made the declaration yesterday at Abuja while speaking with journalists after he scaled through the screening by the All progressive Congress to contest for Senate at Ekiti North Senatorial District of Ekiti state.
He urged his supporters not to be moved by the alleged rumour of imposition or endorsement of any aspirant, saying his people should just go and continue to prepare well for the election, adding that Victory is sure for him.
Ajibulu who thanked his supporters for their massive support base for him, urged them not to relent in their efforts to continue to work for his Victory at the party primary already fixed for the weekend.
He however promised the entire senatorial district of equitable and world-class representation if elected to represent them.
Specifically, Ajibulu urged his supporters to go to the field and double their efforts at wooing more delegates for him as the day of election is near.
“So, let us go into the field and curry the support of our esteemed delegates in the Senatorial District, our friends, family members and kinsmen in our local government areas to key into the Ajibulu for Senate 2023 and secure their votes ahead of the primary.
“I have instructed all my followers not to talk bad of any aspirant when they canvass for vote on my behalf.
“However, I want to plead with my supporters not to be distracted with propaganda and lies being carried about on someone getting endorsement or not.
“As for me, I am not moved by all those distractions, rather I remained focus, and I want to implore my supporters to always ignore anything that could get them distracted on our way to victory. I pray with “Iyonu Olorun” (God’s Mercy) as God will surely grant us resounding victory”, Ajibulu stated.
