Ahead of the upcoming governorship election in Ekiti state, some support groups have pledged their full support for APC governorship candidate, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
The support groups which are, Victory 2022 for BAO and muslim group from Obabiolorunkosi mosque at Ajilosun in Ado-Ekiti.
Victory 2022 for BAO support group which comprises of civil servants from all the ministries in Ekiti state pledged their full support for the APC guber candidate, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
The group Coordinator, Mrs Daramola H.I called on the APC governorship candidate to carry them along in the scheme of things if emerged as governor and never allow their labour to be in vain.
She stated further that members of the group are ready to convince their colleagues in all the ministries to vote for Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji come June 18.
Dr(Mrs) Adubiaro who represented the BAO Anchor Organization at the meeting assured them that the governorship candidate, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji would fulfill all his promises to them.
She described Mr Oyebanji as an experienced and home grown politician who is prepared to continue with the good legacy of His Excellency, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi in Ekiti state.
Dr. Adubiaro promised to relay their message to the APC governorship candidate.
Also a Muslim support group from Obabiolorunkosi mosque promised to mobilize their members for BAO’s victory come June 18.
The Muslim group called on the APC governorship candidate to give Muslim a fair treatment in his administration if emerged as governor.
They lamented about how past administrations have not been that fair enough to them and called for positive change this time around.
Alhaji Dauda Lawal while responding to the Muslim group assured them that they would be well treated if Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji emerged as governor come June 18 with their full support.
He stated further that as a Muslim himself who knows what it really means to make promise assured them that all promises made to them would be fulfilled.
Also, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on community engagement, Hon(Mrs) Tosin Ajisafe Aluko assured the group of better days if BAO emerged as governor. She also called for their full support for Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji come June 18.
Dr(Mrs) Adubiaro and other APC leaders which include Alhaji Dauda Lawal, Hon(Mrs) Tosin Ajisafe Aluko, Mr Aladeloye Oroya, Hon(Mrs) Funmi Adeyemo, Mr Adetolapapa, Ado APC ward 4 chairman and some other leaders were in attendance during the community outreach with the Muslim support group
