Ekiti people are reputable for being men and women of bravery , valour and justice. An average EkitiKete loathes injustice with passion.
It is the hallmark of an OMOLUWABI for an Ekiti man or woman to stand at all times for truth, fairness, equity and justice.
It is universally acknowledged that an average Indigene of Ekiti who has imbibed the OMOLUWABI’s values can expend the last quantum of energy and breath in him or her to ensure that justice prevails in all circumstances.
Ironically, the apparently lopsided power-sharing and rotational formula for the Senatorial seats in Ekiti North Senatorial District makes a mockery of democratic ideals and the OMOLUWABI’s culture for which Ekiti people are known.
And for crying out loud, this political anomaly and injustice is urgently begging for a redress if we must live up to our Creed as People of the Land of Honour and Dignity.
With historical, nay mathematical precision, this unfair rotational arrangement has held sway
since 1999, and it has produced four Senators from Ekiti North Senatorial District of Ekiti.
Prominent amongst the Ekiti North Senators, who had benefited from this tilted scale of political equation were: Senator Olatunji Joseph Ajayi(1999 – 2003); Senator James Kolawole( 2003 – 2007) : Senator Ayo Arise( 2007 – 2011); Senator Duro Faseyi (2015 – 2019) ; and lastly, the incumbent Senator Olubunmi Adetumbi (2011 till date)
Without mincing words, the above explicit graphic details of the Rollcall of Senators from Ekiti North Senatorial District, vividly show that Ido/Osi, Ilejemeje, Moba and Oye Local Councils are full beneficiaries of the unfair zoning arrangements and senatorial ascendancy into the National Assembly while Ikole Local Government has never produced a SINGLE SENATOR!
Permit me, therefore, to ask the following mind- boggling questions:
Is Ikole Local Government Area subservient to other Local Government Areas in Ekiti State that she cannot enjoy the rights to be represented in the Red Chamber? Has Ikole Local Government Area ceased to enjoy equal and inalienable rights of political autonomy which other third -tier levels of government in Ekiti State do enjoy? Do the pundits think NOTHING GOOD can come out of Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State? The questions go on Ad infinitum!
“Haba! Agba kii wa nile ki Eran pe lori iso”, meaning, the goat never suffers parturition while the household elders stand.

No doubt, this anomaly is a drastic DISEASE that needs a DRASTIC CURE!
It is therefore needful to sink it into the psyche of the political class and stakeholders in Ekiti North Senatorial District that the most practical politics is the politics of decency, which always flourishes on the ALTAR of FAIRNESS and EQUITY.
Dear Patriots, now is the time to play politics in its REFINEST FORM.
It is also imperative to invoke the power of Zoning Agenda, which was originally conceived as a Child of Expediency to enable every eligible electorate to effectively participate in the political processes as well as have a feel of power sharing and total inclusion in the political affairs of Nigeria.
Ekiti North Senatorial District is not an exception! Put simply, now is the time to give Ikole Local Government the HONOUR to have a shot at the Red Chamber.
There are competent hands in Ikole Local Government Area who can adequately represent EKITI North Senatorial District in the National Assembly!
HONOUR is the subject of my Narrative. And the HERO of my narrative is the HONOUR-PERSONIFIED and REPUTABLE Personality, whose journey through life began in the mould of a Moonlight Tale of a School Kid from IPAO EKITI. His humble narrative later snowballed into an Epic of Universal Hero.
Like the Biblical Manger-born Messiah, Chief SEGUN AJIBULU was born in IPAO, a small town in Ikole Local government of EKITI North Senatorial District, Ekiti State.
The geographical cum demographic outlook of Ipao is not a limiting factor to Chief Segun Ajibulu’s soaring into greatness. Now that he has elected to present himself for the Patriotic Service to his father’s land, his home-coming is a harbinger of hope for all in his Senatorial District and Ekiti State.
No doubt, Blessed were the hands that rocked his cradle in the ancient town of Ipao in Ekiti North Senatorial Zone, which for a long period of time, has not produced a Member of the Red Chamber in the history of Ekiti State.
Unveiling Chief Segun Ajibulu’s pedigree as a Technocrat cum Administrator and Tax Expert is nothing short of AMAZING!
Chief Segun Ajibulu is a US-Based Tax Expert and Leader of the South West Professionals. He is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at MR S TAX SERVICES in America. His experience in the CEO capacity at MR S TAX SERVICES spans above 24 years. He bagged a Master’s degree in Business and Public Administration.
No doubt, Chief Ajibulu Segun will apply knowledge acquired in education to service.
He is well -grounded in diverse skills such as:
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Strategic Planning, Microsoft Word Analysis, PowerPoint, Research Data Analysis, Program Management, Telecommunications, Tax Preparation, Editing Tax MS Project Income, Tax Media, Relations Tax Returns, Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Corporate Tax.
He is such a pro-democracy activist of note, who has put his life on the line for humanity so that his fellow humans can enjoy life in abundance. He is in the forefront of the crusade against any oppressive and corrupt government and individuals.
He is propelled by his innate propensity to help humanity even ingratitude is the reward for his kindness. He believes there is an Ultimate Reward from God.
He is a cheerful giver who gives without any strings attached. Many have benefited from the largesse in Ekiti State. He lives a life of giving. In the umpteenth times he has given the lease of life to the needy through his philanthropic gestures.
Food items and cash gifts on regular basis were doled out to the masses through out Ekiti State.
He is an ardent lover of education who has successfully embarked on and accomplished the task of lifting up many students up educationally. This is evident in Chief Segun Ajibulu’s giving many scholarship awards to students in the 16 Local Government Areas of Ekiti State.
He is good naturedly tolerant, proactive, trusted , visionary and entrepreneurial.
Given his requisite experience and leadership attributes, Chief Segun Ajibulu is the best and first amongst the aspirants to the coveted Senatorial Seat in Ekiti North of Ekiti State come February 2023.
Rest assured he will make the utmost use of his international exposure to attract investors to his Senatorial District as well as LIFE-CHANGING and people-oriented projects will be enjoyed by his people if voted as the incoming Senator come February 2023.
