It was another testimony of the acceptability of the proposed Ekiti Obas Cup on Monday March 28 when the Trophy Tour train got to the palace of the Olufaki of Ifaki Ekiti, oba Adegbenro Falore.
Oba Falore gladly embraced the trophy as he invited youth leaders and coaches to his palace to restate his determination to support the Youth through Sports.
The royal father did not hide his passion for the round leather game as he joyfully took pictures with the trophy in the presence of one of the high chiefs of Ifaki Ekiti, Abayomi Adeyemi who equally guaranteed that Olufaki FC would be given maximum support towards winning the Ekiti Obas Cup trophy.
The Trophy Tour to Ifaki Ekiti was sequel to the special invitation by the Olufaki, oba Adegbenro Falore who said he was elated to read about the develoment on the forthcoming tournament on the Ekiti Obas Council platform.
He promised to be fully involved and also involve his friends and loved ones at home and abroad saying a tournament like the Obas Cup could unite the youth and everyone in the state more than any other thing especially during the current electioneering period.
The next phase of Trophy Tour hopes to take the organizers of the Obas Cup to prominent personalities within the state especially the political class and philanthropists towards a more vigorous sponsorship drive.
