The Ayo Olopon Global Tourism Festival Competition 2024 is a collaborative event between the Ekiti State Bureau of Tourism Development (Office Of The Governor) and Ayo Olopon Group Sweden.
The competition is open to all Nigerians with the aim not to only revitalize this age-old game within our community but also to introduce it to the global stage, showcasing its intricate strategy, cultural significance , and inherent entertainment value.
Beyond the game itself, the festival will serve as a platform to celebrate and promote the vibrant tapestry of Yoruba culture and arts through various events, workshops, exhibitions, and performances, we will highlight the rich traditions, music, dance, storytelling, and crafts that define our heritage.
Date of Event: October 11 – November 26, 2024,
Venue: Elegqnt Lounge & Bar along Federal Housing road, behind Damlek event hall, Oke Ila Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Nigeria.
Time: 11AM to 5PM (Monday To Friday)
Grand Finale : Uppsala, Sweden.
