300 Days: Former Fayose’s Aide, Olusola Speaks On Oyebanji’s Performance

Former Special Adviser on Religious Masters, to former Governor, Ayo Fayose, Pastor (Dr) Seyi Olusola has lauded the state governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji over his Landmark Achievements in 300 days.

The clergy who also served as Chaplain to the Ekiti State Government during Fayose’s led government spoke with newsmen at a conference in Akure during the weekend when asked.

Pastor Olusola who scored Governor Oyebanji high when he was asked to comment on his performance described the Governor’s achievements as remarkable within his 300 days in office.

Specifically, he said is evident that God has blessed him with a promising start, pointing out that the massive projects executed by the governor shows his commitment to infrastructural development and the well-being of the people of Ekiti.

“I am here to celebrate and eulogize the remarkable achievements of Governor Abiodun Oyebanji during his first three hundred days in office. It is evident that God has blessed him with a promising start and we pray fervently He continues to guide and support him to end his tenure successfully.

“One of the notable accomplishments of Governor Oyebanji’s administration is the execution of over a hundred projects across the state between April and July. This demonstrates his commitment to infrastructural development and the well-being of the people of Ekiti”

The former governor’s aide also commended the Governor in area of social investment, agriculture, security and education. He added that the exemplary human relations skills of the governor has endeared him to the people of Ekiti, making a leader who genuinely cares for his people.

“In his bid to combat poverty and uplift the lives of the indigent citizens, the governor has allocated a significant sum of N213 million to lift 2,600 individuals out of poverty through the social investment component of his administration. This noble act showcases his compassion and dedication to improving the welfare of the less privileged members of the society.

“Furthermore, the governor’s efforts to enhance food production and achieve food security in Ekiti state are commendable. Through the rehabilitation of 43.4 kilometres of roads in six local governments, governor Oyebanji aims to facilitate agricultural activities and enable farmers to transport their produce efficiently. Additionally, the distribution of subsidized farm inputs to 2,279 farmers will undoubtedly boost agricultural productivity and contribute to the economic growth of the state”

Dr. Olusola furthered that, “Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to the security and education sectors is highly commendable. His proactive measures in ensuring the safety of the people and the provision of a conducive learning environment for students are noteworthy achievements. Moreover, his exemplary human relations skills have endeared him to the people of Ekiti, making him a leader who genuinely cares for his constituents”

The clergy however expressed optimism of a better days ahead of Governor Oyebanji’s administration and prayed that God will grant him the wisdom and strength to lead Ekiti State to a brighter and more prosperous future.
