2023: Twenty Four Groups Rise In Support Of PDP Guber Candidate In Benue

Twenty four political groups under the Akweye Political Voice Support group For Uba/Ngbede 2023, were inaugurated yesterday at Allan Akpa, comprising of members from the entire district of Akweya volunteering to work for the election of the Uba/Ngbede PDP joint ticket.

Performing the inauguration ceremony at Allan, the PDP Ward Leader, Mister Pius Angbo, tasks the executive committee led by Honorable James Akpala, the immediate past Counsellor from Allan ward, to work assiduously for the victory of the Uba/Ngbede ticket and keep the party working on all other fronts for victory come 2023.

Mister Angbo also shed light on the Governor Samuel Ortom efforts to provide dividends of democracy to the people with the approval of the construction of two primary school in the district and employment of primary school teachers granted, while applauding him for the five senior special assistants and special assistants position giving to Akweye Sons and Daughter working for the success of the PDP administration.

The convener of the group, Honorable Angbo Augustine Angbo’s who is the special assistant to Governor Samuel Ortom on community relations, urge the Hon. James Akpala led executive to quickly hit the ground running to deliver on their mandate come 2023.

He also encourages The people of Akweya district to ensure the collection of their PVCs as the only weapon they can use to deliver on their mandate.

Top among those who attended the events are the Ex-Officio PDP Otukpo local government, Hon. Patricia Ogaje, Secretary Allan Ward PDP, Mister Okpa, Elder Oluwa Ediba, Hon. Elder Leo Ogbole, Former PDP Chairman Otukpo local government, Hon. John Skoti Anyebe, Hon. Francis Odeeh Ogbole who is Secretary of the group, a youth leader, Hon. Ok, former Woman leader, Allan Ward PDP, Hon. Regina Emaikwu and many other party leaders too numerous to mention.

Campaign materials for the Uba/Ngbede PDP joint ticket were distributed to all the groups and their supporters.
