2023 Presidency and Cluster Parks for APC

The forthcoming presidential elections in Nigeria will surely be an exciting one as the Political landscape of the country is gathering momentums on daily basis. As Nigerians awaits, battle lines between political gladiators in respective political parties more importantly rivalry interest will be renewed between the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and it’s arch rival, People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Recall, the last presidential election saw President Muhammadu Buhari defeating former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

Alignment and realignment of interest has begun forerunning the next presidential election to be a keenly clash of interest between Nigerian political gladiators. Few days ago, the long awaited Presidential Ambition of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC national leader saw the light of the day as he met with President Muhammadu Buhari on national issues coupled with his official intention to contest 2023 Presidency being propagated by his admirers group under the platform of South West Agenda for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (SWAGA), led by Prince Adedayo Adeyeye since last year. Meanwhile, many supporters of Tinubu’s political son, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria, has commenced several move for him to seek the office of the President to succeed his boss come 2023. Osinbajo Support Group has been one of his Prominent advocator canvassing votes and support for his endorsement by Nigerians mostly the members of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

The Chairman of Nigerian governor’s forum and Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, is touted to contest over his personality, development and enforcement by eminent personalities describing him as selfless servant who have what it’s take to govern the country. His endorsement started by Governor Nasir Ahmad el-rufia of Kaduna State while presenting a lecture at Arewa House while former Minister of Politics Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan double it few days ago in Ado-Ekiti, describing him as leader with umatched leadership qualities .

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State met with President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday telling him of his Presidential Ambition while canvassing support for IGBO Presidency realization. In the meantime, former governor of Ogun State and Senator representing Ogun Central senatorial district, Senator Ibikunle Amosun presidential poster, has surfaced in some parts of the country mainly Abeokuta, Abuja and Katsina which means he may follow the roll call of interest to contest.

While numerous Nigerians are clamoring for credible younger President aftermath President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ambition may not be seen as cluster for APC, being the national leader of the party while some people believe he should back younger person as President to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari since the leadership of the party may zone it’s presidential ticket to southern part of the country. Issues like Health, Age and religious affiliation – getting a sellable Christian Vice Presidential Candidate for Tinubu are of trending issues since he met with President Muhammadu Buhari over his intention.

APC national convention, Ekiti and Osun 2022 Gubernatorial Elections is an opener for 2023 Presidency. Issues unfolding in the coming days shedding lights on 2023 Presidency and Cluster Parks in APC.
