A pressure group, Northern Youth Consultative Forum, Katsina State chapter, has urged Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita to contest the forthcoming governorship election in the State. The group described him as the best man to succeed incumbent Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari.
Tuntubakar Lawal Funtua, Chairman of the group, made the appeal known during a press conference on related issues of Youth and Politics of Katsina State. He pointed Senator Ahmad Babba Kaita representing Katsina North Senatorial District as a lover of youth development and borderless lawmaker who has extended his good virtue’s to central and South Senatorial making him embodiment of the State. Without doubt of mind, Kaita is the Hope of the Common man needed to move Katsina State to greatness in the coming political dispensation.
Lawal said Kaita is a tested and trusted leader having been in the National Assembly since 2011, when he represented Kankia/Ingawa/Kusada constituency of Katsina State till now as Senator of Katsina North senatorial district, reaching out to his people with dividends of democracy in due time, recall he recently distributed twelve transformers to his Senatorial District.
“We shall give him our full support because he had given employment to uncountable youths of the State irrespective of their town and senatorial districts. He’s accessible, caring and detribalized Politican whose passionate heart is for a better and ideal Katsina State.
Members of the group shared different opinions and contributions of Kaita who despite his busy schedule at work always give his homestate people the best of accommodating.
Unanimously they urged him to declare interest to contest the forthcoming governorship election holding in the State with personality to curry good and large votes for his party, All Progressive Congress (APC), amongst other political parties. Urging their fellow compatriot to embrace his Personality which is the best option available over experience in Leadership and good intentions yileding transfomational projects for the interest of the masses.
